EasyBooking (easybooking.events) is a booking and queue platform for businesses. This page explains what information we handle, why, and the choices you have. Questions: [email protected].
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and either a password (stored only as a secure hash) or the account identifier from Google or Apple if you sign in with them.
- Business details you enter: business name, type, country, time zone, address, phone, opening hours, services, team members, tables or rooms, and settings.
- Information about your customers that you or they enter: names, phone numbers, preferred language, appointments, queue tickets, party size and notes.
- Messages sent for you: the text and delivery status of WhatsApp or SMS messages (confirmations, reminders, queue alerts).
- Usage information: pages visited, an anonymous visitor identifier, approximate country, device type and where a visit came from (for example an ad).
Signing in with Google or Apple
If you choose Google or Apple, we receive only your name, email address and an account identifier, used to sign you in. We get no access to your Google or Apple account, contacts, files or other data. Apple may give us a private relay address instead of your real email.
How we use information
- To provide the service: calendars, bookings, the waiting line, online booking pages and messages to customers.
- To keep accounts secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To understand how the platform is used and improve it, and to measure our own advertising.
- To reply when you contact us. We do not sell personal information.
Businesses and their customers
Each business decides which customer information it enters and is responsible for having the right to use it and to message its customers. We process that information on the business's behalf and only to provide the service. Customers who want their information changed or removed can ask the business, or contact us.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the platform: cloud hosting and database (Railway), network security (Cloudflare), messaging (Meta WhatsApp, and SMS providers such as Twilio or Unifonic when enabled), product analytics (PostHog), advertising measurement (Google), and payment processors (such as MyFatoorah or Stripe) when paid plans are active. Card details are handled by the payment processor; we never see or store card numbers.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, a cookie to remember your language, an anonymous visitor cookie for our own visit statistics, and analytics and advertising cookies on public pages. Signed-in pages and customers' booking and ticket pages are excluded from session recordings.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep information while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and your business's data at any time by writing to [email protected].
Security
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, stored secrets such as WhatsApp keys are encrypted, and each business can only reach its own data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; important changes will be announced in the app.
